316 stainless steel high temperature test points, rated to 200°C
TIG 200°C stainless steel test points are self-sealing access fittings for repeatable temperature checks on equipment and pipework that run hot. Each fitting is a fixed measuring location: maintenance and commissioning teams return to the same point instead of holding a probe against a surface and hoping the reading matches the last one.
The body is 316 stainless steel, marked 316 SS and 1000 PSI (69 bar). Stainless steel is the right choice where the fitting will see corrosion, moisture, cleaning chemicals, or a hygiene-critical environment such as medical equipment, laboratories, and pharmaceutical plant. For cleaner, lower-risk industrial duties, a brass test point is usually the more economical option. This product is the stainless range.
A captive cap, tethered strap, and gasket close the port between checks. Black, red, or blue identification tags make flow and return, or separate circuits, easy to tell apart once the plant is lagged or crowded.
Options
- Thread: 1/4″ or 1/2″ BSPT male, to match the port already on the equipment.
- Length: short, or extended (long) where lagging, a guard, or access means the probe needs to reach further in.
- Tag: black, red, or blue.
All twelve combinations are precision-engineered and supplied with the relevant certificates. The Instrument Group (TIG Ltd) is a UK supplier.
